The Design Process
After reviewing your project, looking at your building site and any existing conditions, we’ll talk about ideas, your personal preferences, style, budgets, and get to know each other. At this point, you will receive a verbal estimate of design costs. Based on the your approval, a Design Agreement will be emailed to you.
Upon acceptance of the Design Agreement, Jeff will produce preliminary drawings, his concept of the proposed space, along with interior & exterior perspective views, and get them to you generally within three weeks. He will walk you through the plan, helping you to understand what he has come up with, as he watches and listens intently for your reactions & thoughts. You will be encouraged to spend some time with the plan while putting your thoughts together. Based on your feedback and further understanding of your needs and desires, he will revise and resubmit the plan to you. This process will continue until you are both happy and excited about the design.
At this point, Jeff will produce the Construction Drawings, necessary for the building permit process, final pricing & construction of your project. As the construction of your project progresses, Jeff will be available for further consultation, and changes as necessary.
